Frank Santoro

Principal

As the Principal, Frank is responsible for managing the strategic direction of Spectra Projects Ltd., along with overseeing the daily operations of Business Development, Estimating, Client Care, Human Resources & Health and Safety. His experience within various industries, education, and entrepreneurial spirit have equipped him with the skills to be a decisive leader as he works to foster sustained growth.

In the past 10 years working directly within commercial construction as a general contractor, Frank has developed a diverse skill set while building extensive relationships throughout the industry, which are highlighted in the references and referrals attributed to him. Prior to, and over the past 15 years, Frank contributed to the industry as a managed services and strategic planning provider across industry segments, including: general contractors, sub-contractors, and professional services - architectural and engineering.

Outside of work, Frank takes every opportunity to enjoy the city he was born and raised in, whether it be uncovering local coffee shops with friends, golfing, or taking in the city’s summer festivals with his wife and kids.

Carel Jorritsma

Construction Manager

As the Construction Manager, Carel oversees all the aspects of the day to day operations of the construction department, including Project Management and Site Management. He works closely with Project Managers regarding cost control, scheduling and manpower. Carel is also an ear to the Site Superintendents whom often call and ask for an opinion on any given situation.

With over 25 years in the commercial construction sector, Carel utilizes this experience as a Journeyman Carpenter, Site Superintendent and Project Manager to help with the day to day questions asked of him. His reputation, for being dedicated, trustworthy and honest, precede him in an industry that sometimes lacks those skill sets. Communication, in a personal and direct manner are a calling card of his - whether being of a positive or of a difficult tone.

Outside of work Carel enjoys taking time to enjoy nature by heading to the cabin, going camping or boating with family and friends. He also likes to putz around in the garage utilizing his carpentry skills, if the kid’s sporting events don’t chew up too much time. He is also an active member in his local church.
